Dr. Devanand H. N. is a highly accomplished academician, researcher, and social leader with over 35 years of dedicated service in the field of education, youth empowerment, and community development. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Bangalore University (2009) and has been actively involved in research, teaching, leadership development, and organizing national and international academic forums. He is currently serving as a Guest Faculty at the Center for Rural Development and Management Studies, Bangalore University, with more than 14 years of teaching experience, guiding over 35 postgraduate dissertations, and contributing significantly through seminars, research programs, academic committees, cultural forums, and question-paper setting.

Dr. Devanand has published numerous national and international research papers on subjects including the Indian economy, globalization, women empowerment, rural development, social security, higher education, and decentralized governance. His scholarly work has been featured in reputed journals such as Shanlax International Journals, Golden Research Thought, and various university research publications. He has presented papers and chaired sessions at major national and international conferences, earning wide respect in academic and social spheres.

With a remarkable track record in leadership and social engagement, he has organized state-level and national-level conferences, vocational training programs for unemployed youth, cultural festivals, and public awareness campaigns, while actively working for the upliftment of rural and marginalized communities. He has devoted 35 years to empowering society through education, constitutional awareness, self-employment training, and community development activities. He is the Founder and President of Karnataka State SC/ST Graduates Federation (R) and the Founder Chairman of Ambedkar Economics Foundation (R), along with holding key positions in multiple NGOs and youth development organizations.

His contributions have been widely recognized with honors such as Best State Volunteer – NSS (1999), Best University Level Volunteer – NSS (1998), and second prize in the State Parade at the 50th Republic Day Ceremony at Manekshaw Ground, establishing him as a distinguished national-level organizer and social motivator. His core strengths include academic and research leadership, youth mobilization, event organization, public speaking, conference coordination, publishing, and national-level networking.

As the President of Ashwamedha Sports & Cultural Club, Dr. Devanand brings visionary leadership, academic excellence, and an unwavering commitment to social transformation. His guidance inspires students, educators, athletes, artists, and community leaders to strive for progress, discipline, and nation-building through education, sports, culture, and collective responsibility.
